Vincent Benini
Founder
Vincent Benini founded Utilized Energy, now Utilyzed, in 2025 after twelve years in battery storage development, sales engineering, and project delivery. Since then Utilyzed has modeled over 700 MW of projects, with over $6.3M in funding secured for its clients.
From 2020 to 2025 he was Chief Commercial Officer at PositivEnergy, where he originated and closed behind-the-meter battery and EV infrastructure projects for municipal, industrial, and fleet customers, and negotiated the customer, supply, and cooperative purchasing agreements behind them. Before that he was Lead Sales Engineer for the East Coast at Enel X, formerly Demand Energy, building value-stack and hybrid solar-plus-storage models for projects in NYISO and ISO-NE, and a Senior Project Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where he led field deployment of lithium-ion storage systems at utility and commercial sites.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and is an Energy Risk Professional, certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
