What is Utilyzed?
Utilyzed is an independent analytics platform for battery energy storage projects. You screen a site for hosting capacity and queue position, model what the battery earns, and build the pro forma.
Who is it for?
Developers who need to know where a battery can connect and what it will earn. Lenders and investors read the same run. Operators check the model against the bills the site pays.
What does Utilyzed cover?
Value streams in seven US ISOs, one Ontario program, and 74 utilities in 32 states. Hosting capacity and interconnection queue data cover fewer utilities, and the coverage page names each one.
Can I start before I have interval data?
Yes. Run the case on a synthetic load shape or on figures you enter by hand. Every report names the load it ran on. Import the meter file when it arrives and run the case again.
Which revenue streams can the platform model?
Energy arbitrage and demand-charge reduction apply in any market. New York adds the VDER value stack and Special Case Resources. PJM adds capacity and peak load contribution reduction. Other markets carry a capacity or reserve product.
How does access work?
Access is by invitation and there is no self-serve signup. Write to us with the site, the utility that bills it, and where the project stands. A person reads every message.
